GREEN TEA JAPAN
KABUSECHA UJI YABUKITA 80g
High-Grade Kabuse Sencha Green Tea from Uji.Kyōto.Japan
Our Kabuse Sencha is shaded for 2 weeks to create a rich, syrupy tea because the leaves are so delicate.
The lack of sunlight encourages the young shoots to produce more chlorophyll, which turns the leaves into a dark shiny green. The liquor is jade-green in colour with a distinctive and intense lingering umami flavour.
Kabuse Sencha is vegetal with subtle notes of spinach and a thick mouthfeel.
It is illustrative of traditional high quality Japanese teas.
